CAREER
Followed the best year of my life career-wise and financially, with a new best year. Got to work on a variety of shows for a variety of networks, all of which I’m very proud of… This year I worked on Gigolos season 3 for Showtime, Wiener Circle for truTV, Miss Advised for Bravo, Gypsy Sisters for TLC, and Catfish: The TV Show for MTV. Catfish is probably my most successful show to date; over 3 million people watched my episode.
I set up an editing system at home and have worked on several projects here, including my first adventure in scripted editing, a web series that Chelsea co-wrote called "The Slutty Years."
I worked on a low budget horror feature in the special FX department, learned a lot and had a fun time!
I maxed out my Roth IRA again, even though I didn’t make any money on it this year. And I hope to do the same next year. I did in fact invest beyond my IRA this year, as was a goal of mine. I bought stock in Lionsgate Films and IMAX corporation. So far my Lionsgate investment is doing better than my IRA.
I voted on the Emmy awards this year, which was a ton of fun!
PERSONAL
Still living with Chelsea, we’ve been together for 40 months now and our nub continues to grow. I still love her and our life together will all my heart!
I went to 17 concerts, including several Elizaveta shows and a couple Ruby Friedman Orchestra appearances, and Nataly Dawn's first ever show in LA. Look out for all those names in the future! I also went to a couple dream concerts: Regina Spektor at the Greek, and The Offspring at the Palladium. I met Amy Poehler, Jane Lynch, John Waters, Rob Schrab, Dan Harmon, Emo Philips, Doug Jones, Joan as Police Woman, and many more. I realized a childhood dream of seeing Mystery Science Theater 3000 live (in the form of Cinematic Titanic), and then getting to meet Joel and the crew afterward!!!!!
I ran for most of the year, but never quite got back on track after the marathon last year. I hope to rectify that in 2013. At one point this year I was running and doing a lot of cross training and I found that the cross training made me way faster than anything else. I ran a 6:35 mile, my fastest ever.
I finally got Chelsea in Atlanta, and she finally got to meet my brother Jeff. Now Ashley Claire is the only Litzinger she hasn't met. Chelsea and I also visited Las Vegas again this year, where she had her first roller derby bouts ever! Since then she has had several bouts here in LA and I've gone to all of them. Immediately following Rollercon, we had a weekend in Palo Alto for a very nice Stanford wedding. We also had a weekend at Disneyland, which was my first time, and we had a blast!
Lost my great aunt Marge who was truly a great aunt, she helped me through college. She was in her 90s and suffering from Alzheimer's, so she is in a better place now.

I still think I could be a solid 170 or so someday, if I was real lean. At one point this year I was 172, but especially the last couple of months I really let myself go. It's not easy with a terrible work schedule and side projects.
RESOLUTIONS FOR 2012
1) Invest more than just Roth IRA.
2) Go to a foreign country.
3) Be really serious about fitness. I want to be in the best shape of my life.
4) Write and begin to draw a comic book.
5) Continue learning to ink with a brush.
6) Set up home editing system for side projects.
7) Learn to silkscreen.
8) Learn to use more graphics in editing.
9) Love Chelsea like she’s never been loved before. And then love her some more.
10) Continue being awesome.
RESOLUTIONS FOR 2013
1) Be really serious about fitness. I want to be in the best shape of my life.
2) Go to a foreign country.
3) Write a good script.
4) Write and begin to draw a comic book.
5) Buy a new car.
6) Cut a feature.
7) Pay off my student loans.
8) Continue learning to use more graphics in editing. Use AfterEffects.
9) Love Chelsea like she’s never been loved before. And then love her some more.
10) Continue being awesome.
